WORKFLOW-
Step by step to the first finished picture
1. Blink
- Check recordings for errors and sort them out (tracking errors, not in focus)
Recordings with streak marks do not need to be discarded
Process <All Processes> Blink
2. Weighted batch preprocessing
- Stacking images – Debayering (converting images to color)
Script_BatchProcessing_WeightedBatchPreprocessing
3.
LRGBHa
to register
Process <ImageRegistration> StarAlignment
4. DynamicCrop
- cut
Process <All Processes> DynamicCrop
5. GraXpertAI or GradientCorrection-Smooth background, correct color errors, remove gradients
Process <All Processes> GradientCorrection
6. LinearFit
- Adjust RGB filters
Process <All Processes> LinearFit
7. ChannelCombination
- Combine RGB or LRGB
Process <All Processes> ChannelCombination or LRGBCombination
8. RGBWorkingSpace- Give colours equal weight

– Convert images to visible area
Process <All Processes> GeneralizedHyperbolicStretch
The most important steps with the PixInsight Light Part 1 have been done. The fine work can be covered in Part 2 if desired.
In PixInsight there are various ways to work out an image with all its finer details. However, this requires a lot of experience and time. With this workshop I would like to show you a way to get your first worked out image in the simplest possible steps. We will work through the individual points step by step and practice, practice...
At the end of the day, each participant should be able to understand the entire workflow independently using my script.

PixInsight “Light”:Part 2
Ffor Part 2
The basic knowledge of Part 1 is necessary. We will delve deeper into image processing in PixInsight.
CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP - we work through different workflows
1. with StarXTerminator
separate the RGB image into object and stars before stretching,
with GHSand then use the stretched images with PixelMath
combine
2. Integrating Ha into RGB or LRGB with NBRGB.
3. Integrating OIII SII into RGBHa with NBRGB
4. Combine Ha OIII SII with PixelMath
5. Combine Ha OIII SII with ChannelCombination
Or/and if desired, we will repeat the basic functions of Part 1 and edit your own images together with tips on the finer points of image editing. Masterlight must already be done.
